Free Electric Storage Heater Grants

To qualify for a free storage heater grant you must have existing electric heating and be in receipt of a qualifying benefit, such as Universal Credit, PIP or Child Benefit. Please see the full list here.

Do I Qualify For A Free Storage Heater Replacement Grant?

Am I In A Qualifying Household?

To qualify for an electric storage heater grant you must be living in private accomodation that is for domestic use. These grants are not available if you live in Council or Housing Association accommodation. Someone living in the household must be claiming at least one of the qualifying benefits below.

What Kind Of Heating Qualifies?

If your electric storage heaters are 10+ years old or perhaps one (or several) are faulty, then you should apply for an electric storage heater grant. We can organise high energy efficiency units to be installed by fully accredited partners. If you use standard electric heaters or fan heaters to heat your property then you should apply for this free grant as we can replace your current heaters with new storage heaters. Replace your old portable heaters, electric heaters or storage heaters with energy efficient new storage heaters.
